not expected to live. Three of our neighbors, Mrs King, Miss Nevins and Mr, Reed have been sick in bed during the week. We are all improved and happy, there were but four of us to sit up in the church this morning, but we hope for more another Sunday. I dread to take Ralph to church for fear he will be restless, he wants to go much. Baby is quite funny and bothers the boys as much as ever. He is crazy to get out doors. How is your general health? You ought to have more of that medicine. I should have been out to see you last week had there been any certainty of getting back the same day. Take good care of yourself and don't work too hard. Do you read your essay, tomorrow? I wish I could write you a nicer letter but letter writing is no more my forte than is talking but I can feel for people and love them much. With love to Miss Howes and Maggie and a double portion for yourself I must say good night. Mother Be sure and come Sat. We can sleep three of you and shall be very glad to see Miss Howes and Maggie too. Bring them along. It will do them good to get a taste of our noisy house-hold. If the noise gets unendurable we can put them in the parlor, I mean the girls.
