Glen Ellyn, ILL. 

 Oct. 30, 1920.

Dearest Mummie: 

 Am writing hurriedly as we are all ready to go downtown to purchase a roast lamb in honor of Grandpa Kerr's visit tomorrow. It will be the first time I have

seen him since last spring. Guess he has been well and busy. Called him up at the office and invited him out the last time we were in town. 

 Got a box for your things after several unsuccessful attempts, and hope to get it packed
