Friday 15 Sept Mayo helped Jenny get in wood-- emptied the basket almost entirely by himself in great glee at his success--Still has diarrhea-- 

Br. G. came & a classmate named Mardin.  G, has been sick-- diarrhea & vomiting-- not able to study since Monday-- Carried home Tomatoes-- Was here to dine & tell  little past three-

Saturday 16 Aug 

I did most of the housework to let J. sew some- letter came from Isaac & Anna.  How good Isaac is to write-- Anna supposes we are going West this fall-- Does not know Isaac is coming in Jan. probably- Man came from [the one?] for father to attend Dr Gilley's funeral at eleven on Monday--
