Sept 7th [1915] Dear Mary 

 It was so good to get your letter, they are always prized. Will you write to Fay (Lewis  MP) & ask him if he & I will not join in giving young Johansen $30. A month for one year. I have so many things to do with what I get out of the few clients I have, whose troubles I do not take for nothing that it keeps me poor. And I would like to have Fay join with me
