8 mo 17 7 to discharge our duty, we felt comfortably resigned to

                          the divine n'ill, knowing that the Lord hath his ways
                          in the Deeps & Clouds, and the Language in holy
                          writ revived in my mind, If the Lord should see
                          cause once more to what his glittering Sword
                          and his right hand lay hold on Vengence, and cause
                          his voice to be heard above the clamours of the
                          people, and by terrible things in righteousness
                          humble the haughtiness of the inhabitants.
                              In vain will it be to expect a true & lasting unclear
                          either between Nations or individuals, until those
                          concerned
