34 South Clark St Chicago Ills Feb. 24. 1884 Dear father, I will write you a line you are so good about writing. I suppose it is because you have plenty of time. You see I am plenty busy so you must excuse me. Aunt Martha is about the same Luey has a hard cold but I am doing my best to bring him out all right he coughs considerable so that keeps us ? awake nights. Flora + Sam are expected tomorrow or next day + I hope they will come for ? is sick +? She has a hard cold. Colds are very prevelant here at present I think you were wise to say a little longer till the weather gets
