Roberts' Mother was buried last Tuesday. I went to the funeral afoot as the roads were too soft to take a horse. I staid at Gwen's that night, and came up on the crust the next day – and so did not get so very tired. I went to Mrs. Elias Jones' on my way home, and took dinner there. RE. E.R. Lewis preached in our church yesterday morning – but we did not go, as it was stormy, & Wm did not feel able. It was pleasant in the evening, and I went on the crust. The snow is still very deep, though it settled some during the thaw last week. Today we have been having a fresh supply but we flatter ourselves that it will be short-lived. The prayer meeting this week is at Wm H. Williams', tonight, next week it will probably be at Lewis'. How does Jennie get along with her class letters. When she finishes those, we shall hope to hear from her again.
