I wrote so far this morning. It is now near nine in the evening. Eddie has had a very comfortable day. He is resting quietly now though not asleep. This afternoon we give him leef tea over in two hours. He told me to write that he is getting along as well as could be expected. The Dr. told us this morning that we had better not let any of the neighbors, who called, go in to see him, so he has had a quiet, restful day; the best day, the Dr. said this evening, that he has had at all. I am very glad I came up. It seems to have cheered and comforted them even though I cannot do much to help them. Eddie and Kate? are very much pleased with the butter. It came nicely.
