Lewiston, Maine, May 19 1882

Dear Aunt Jennie I enclose the paper signed as you request and am so sorry that your business should have been delayed for want of my signature even though it was through no fault of mine as I did not get the letter from Turin. I have had no letter from you for a long time except the postal telling of Aunt Sarah's death. I am so sorry I missed getting it as I am always so interested in any thing from you and per- haps Aunt Anna will not feel able to write ever again.
