Sept 26 Woke up with cars stationary at Cañon City. 2 bridges burned last night ahead of us. About 11am got off. Crossed bridges safely. Arrived Pueblo 1:30 pm & Denver 5 30 pm Met by the G.A.R. & ? crowd. Went to Madison Hotel. Very good. Genl and Tidball went to GAR at night. I cut it ? Hotel/Hated? of? ? ? necessary. Went to bed 11pm. Tired.
