Tuesday, February 9, 1864 Received my orders to report at Washington for examination made out an application for (3) three days leave and sent it up to corps. Head unclear.

Wednesday 10 Was expecting my leave of absence to come down but it did not. Capt Osborne gave me a note to Capt Haletend recorder? of the board.

Thursday 11 Have heard nothing from leave yet.
