44 Troops were paid after muster. Had my Co. books inspected by Col. Merrill. He paid me a very good compliment on my business in general. Lieuts Cahill & Steel came up with a drove of cattle for the Commissary. The Inspectors and Paymaster all pulled out on the Creek (Kinney's Fork) intending to make an early start in the morning.
