by crossing near stream sometimes one, other times the other was resorted to. Crossed river three times & made the long stretches with the hills -- Crossing abominable- no bottom - bog everywhere. Made five corduroy & one brush bridge besides a good log bridge over a side stream. The Com'p did not get out of camp until after 7 am.
