Since that period Bishop has kept the Mission buildings in possession. The chapel has been used for several years as a Court house - & the dwelling house for a Tavern. Grog shops have been opened on the premises - & in the vicinity, & the once venerable spot has become a hot bed of vice, & every manner of wickedness.
