Elyria March 15 54 Moving, for he is dismissed from this church & is just about leaving the place. They had more claims on us than any one else to invite them, which could have been done with the greatest pleasures & convenience had it been at any other time; as it was we got along very well have had quite a merry social time with all the six visitors here together for a week. My doctor has been most sick for several days with a bad cold & cough I am perfectly well, & very happy. My little girls are certainly good children full of affection toward me & seem like my own. I can see improvement in them in several respects since my coming which is very gratifying to me as well as to their father. Every thing about my house goes on just as usual, I have had quite a respite in sewing for a few weeks, but am now about beginning again in good earnest, so as to get the [unclear] 'fixings' along betimes. If Hattie goes with us east, I shall need to do more sewing for her than otherwise. tomorrow I expect a sewing woman to stay two or three days & help me make the doctor a double gown, myself a morning dress & some spring de laines for the children. I wish you would write me particularly about Charles
