The Herald of Freedom of Lawrence says the border papers have less of the blood and murder tone since those documents came out than?  before. The future of this territory depends entirely upon the free states. Will they feeling for Kansas and freedom continue or will the Free States be diverted by an excitement about such a shadowy chimera as a war with England about Musquito king protectorates &c., &c. 
 Indications lead us to expect a large Western and some Eastern emigration this spring. They say Dr. Bushnell is coming. I hope he will. Such men are needed here. Much love  John
