                                    Know all even by these presents that I Jeremiah Austill of the state and county aforesaid have this day made, constituted, and appointed Samuel Dale of the aforesaid State & County, my true and lawful Attorney, in my name, and I do further authorize him to demand & receive such papers as how heretofore been placed in the handy of the Attorneys by me, and I do hereby give him full power to settle and receive all moneys which may be due to the estate of Evan Austill decd., from the Cherokee Nation, in my name, to make a final settlement of the same, which settlement shall be as binding on me as if done by myself in person.
