work to believe that I am so old I certainly never felt young- I have many thins for wh. to praise God as I review the past year, and many things to segment as I examine my improvement as Gods minions- Oh! for a past to feel- to adore- to love: how little do I appreciate my blessings. I know not where my God will place me this new year- I know not what trials and perplexities I am welt and I know not how much good God may permit me to do- but if I have his presence and blessing a dispodition and ability to bablor new health and of my own parents and friends are blessed thus spiritually and temporally - what need I as more? May 18. Today received a present from Miss. B of two bound volumes and a phamphlet written by herself- very valuable. Received a letter from mother [unclear] as Douglass. Went with Mrs. Wysman Miss, Egeney and Miss Bush to [unclear] to meet some ladies
