Follow up the Canyon 2 miles and the road crosses over to the South side on a Toll Bridge. The River is about 75 yds wide, muddy water and swift current. Leave the River at this point and follow more southerly up a willow brand about 6 miles, thence over a summit about 2 miles and camp in a willow gulch with a few springs of poor water just above the road. Somuch so that it appears impossible to do anything, move or step without coming in contact with them by hundreds. Distance 18 miles.
