The friends all inquire so much about you and send messages of love. At David's funeral yesterday I saw Rosellen Mitchel & Ellen Evans. They had many inquiries to make about you both, and urged me much to call. Rosellen said that her father was very badly off. Jane had told me that his mind is in a very bad state, that Rosellen had told her. I must try and call there. I had quite a little visit with Mrs. Griffith Floyd. walked with her from the house to the church. She said that Ruth & Fannie Ellis were at home now, and Maria of course as housekeeper. Annie in N.Y. nursing. She is but little lame. Was very sick last month with the gripe but is now well. Mrs. G. visited the girls not long since at Whitesboro. She lives along in her home on of Ruth's children coming to stay with her nights
