Dear Brother
I intended to have sent this money Sat, but the stage started sooner than usual, thus I missed a bit. I have not heard anything from the stolen flour yet, don't think I shall unless it is found by search warrant. I rather think (as does the miller) that it went down stream. Some one tried to break in to the first mill last Tuesday night. I have sold all the flour that remained and we pay for all sold except one bag that Hamilton has and had dollars due on a Bbl that Mr. Rich had. Abel Goff died day or two ago. Mr Hamilton has been laid up with the Rheumatism bout a week. Mr Temple is going to stay here three weeks longer. Mehitable is going to Le Grange keeping school in two weeks from yesterday, has $2,00 per week & boarded. I shall wind up farming about tomorrow
J.P Furber at the time $31,00 with care? the odd quarter ill? send some
