75 & repaired by Gregory 13th & Urbin the 8th it is of an Octagon unclear in a chapel to the right which by the bye no lady is allowed to enter but only to peep in is a statue of John the baptist in bronze & two of serpentine; they considered this Chapel too Holy for any woman to enter as if women were not allowed to enter Heaven -- this church was founded by Constantine the great & called the Mother church of Rome
