Remsen, Apr. 16, 187?5 Dear Mary, We received your letter yesterday morning - are very anxious about you lest you make yourself sick - wish you could get some one to help you for a little while at least. It is very hard for us to say what we can do - we have made no arrangement. I have written this morning to see if we can get Davis for a while - we have quite a little set on second form and hope to have the next number out early - then, if possible, Cynthia and I will try to make you that promised visit. We would like very much to see you and know a little better how it is with you. The roads are not yet so that we can take the horse to the village. Cynthia is pretty feeble you know.

vertical writing at top was not feeling well and spring is late also with them so it is hard to find food for the cattle &c. Jennie
