11th--Very sick as expected 12th--Was very sea sick 13th--Arrived at Tampico Mex about eight this morning. I was glad to get out on deck although feeling quite unsteady. There is no harbor at this place, but the Steamer "lays by" about three miles from shore , & is communicated with by little Tugs & liters (lighters) of which there were quite a number.--The town of Tampico is five miles inland up the River, but on clear days the church spires can be seen-- A great many Mexicans came aboard here.
