Dear Sister Jennie,

Yesterday, Eddie and I returned from our long thought-of trip to the White Mountains. We have been there some, no one can ever convince us that we have not. Eddie will tell you about the mist and the wonder that we saw there when he gets home. Anna really seems to be getting better, she appears stronger and her appitite is more regular and better. As we expected she felt better from her journey more after resting a few days than when we first got here. She took cold in evening from Bristol as it rained some. Her throat was quite sore and she felt badly for a while but she has got over it now and I feel very much encouraged about her. I will write more soon, we are very glad to get so many letters from home.

Sarah.
