Nov 21st School Loomis & Taylor Teusday Nov 17th. Joseph Gillett 70

This morning not cloudy -- but after dinner -- the sun rose and it was pleasant. I wrote a note to Sallie Ward Hunt and then went down town -- bought children scarfs and Cakes -- all still with cold -- received letters from home -- they all sick with cold -- Ada gone to Licinia,s to stay a little while.

Wednesday Nov 18th

it is a lovely bright sunny day -- Belle & Eva gone to their Aunt Hiltons to dinner I ordered a Carriage and Ada and went visiting -- called on four brides. Mrs Gutherie Mrs Bigelow Mrs Huntington & Mrs Hudson. also Mrs Judge Morris Mrs Brown & Mrs Thomas. bought a new pair of gloves -- returned at five. Ada had a little party -- she invited her Cousins -- Alice & Florence -- after tea we spent evening with Mrs Hilton -- I bought the three children new poplin scarfs.

Thursday Nov 19th

It is a dark ugly day -- my baby sick again with Croup -- all the rest well. I wrote to day to Virginia & Siss -- Mr Fisher called -- Willie Heiskell here playing Billiards -- Hannah my sewing girl came to see us.

Friday Nov 20th

This a bright day -- all of us well -- I sent for a hack, and took my three girls and went visiting -- called on Mrs Flint -- Miss Adele just returned and Mr Feild came with her -- I then called on Miss Garnet -- Mrs Clark. Mrs Sherman -- Mrs King Mrs James Miller Mrs Arthur Mrs Farlin Mrs Hadduck. Mrs Wheeler & Bishop Duggan. Ella Badger came to see me -- Belle & Eva took tea with their Aunt Hilton -- received letters from home __

Saturday Nov 21st

It is cold to day -- after dinner I went down town with Belle & Eva -- they bought Candy - and took tea again with Licinia -- Mr Feild called to see me -- baby still has bad cold -- I went to see Mr Grover and entered the children for Monday --Mr Grover feels sadly. Belle Shed tears at seeing the school room where the teacher she loved so well used to sit --
