Remsen, Dec. 22, 1877 My dear sister, Yours of Dec 8 is before me. Mother keeps it in her Bible and when she has finished her chapters, takes it out and reads it over- so she does with each letter as it comes, until another is received to take its place. This evening she read it before going to rest and asked whether I had answered it. I said no! but I will try to answer it tonight. In looking it over, I find that it has been answered, but for mother's sake I will give it a second answer! I wonder if you so often sigh for a letter from home as mother does
