Double-Head's Treaty. James Vann was of the same delegation, but opposed to the policy of the Double-Head. He regarded him as the betrayer of the interests of his nation; and word scratched out told him so at Washington. High words ensued & dirks were drawn; but the parties were separated & no blood word scratched out was shed.

    John D. Chisholm white man was said to have lured Double-Head into the measures of that unpopular treaty.
