Dear Parents, Brothers & Sisters;

  I can not tell you my feelings to hear that dear brother Robert was indeed no more. It was so unexpected. You must indeed feel greatly afflicted. He was truly a beloved brother, lovely and pleasant in his life, and we cannot but unclear and lament our great loss. How much you must all miss him, knowing that he is gone no more to return home we shall miss him if we should be spared to visit you another season.
