Tuesday, November 19, 1901 Miss Mollen gone to Lake Forest to Sew for Mrs Ballard

Today is a beautiful, and sunny. all are well again, Yesterday Mrs Rearden had a severe sore throat, so she sent for the Dr. blank, he left her medicine, but she is much better this afternoon. There is in Chicago a great deal of throat trouble, and Grip, so the papers say. After breakfst, Frances had Jim harness up the Donkey, she wents some errands then went to the school for the children, they had a good ride, then she took all the neighbor children, then put up for Luncheon, at two O.clock, Frances went to Evanston, and took little Shreve with her. The workmen to day I think will finish the Barn for the Donkey and the shedd for the cart, Miss Mollen went this morning to Lake Forest, to sew for Mrs Bland for a week then she will return To night the dancing class, of young married people, meet at the Hall of Mrs Babcock, for pleasure & instruction I received to day an invitation from Mrs Addision Ballard & Mrs William, Mr Derby Jr. to a Reception November 30th My sister Mrs Shreve, has been sick in Louisville, her home, with cold.
