Wednesday Night April 16, 1947 My Dear Elbridge, These are such busy days, and will continue to be busy ones from now until school closes. It is now 10:30. I have spent all evening grading papers, and still have a large stack to grade.

   We have been having warm days here too, but tonight is much cooler. There is a cold wind blowing. I do hope that we will not have more snow now that spring flowers are blooming.
  Days have been so warm that I have had spring fever or something. I am so tired when I come home of evenings that sometimes I have had to lie down and rest unclear as I got home.
