Dearest Irene; My trip to Chicago seems to have brought me good luck. Today I got very friendly and reassuring letters from Miss Morgan and Chris?, and my heart is a great deal lighter. If they will buy me a little cordial? , I will go so much more than [[???} way! Also I found a very reassuring letter from McNeny. I am sending you his letter and Hugo's by another mail, so that if Annie should talk to you and Carrie you would know all about the situation. Please send Bernard's letter back to me, as I wish to file it.
