Monday forenoon, I have been to school this morning but came home before it was out. We think of buying a present for Mr. Northam, and I think he deserves one, if ever a teacher did, for he has worked hard all winter; We have not decided what to get, but I presume it will be a book of some kind. I cant think of much news to write. I have not been able to get a school yet, and I am afraid I shall be obliged to give it up, but I shall not do so very willingly.
