It is thought now that the condition of the Cheyennes and Arapahoes will be such that in want of a large amount of spare transportation, they will have to be left in this region till Spring, a proper force to stay with them and conduct them to their reservation as soon as practicable.

    My own impression is that matters will come to an end quite suddenly at last, wind up in a hurry, and that that will be between the twelfth and fifteenth of this month.
