The Welsh are very much scattered and it is much more difficult to find them than it is in a farming community. It is best generally to find the Welsh Cong. pastor when you first go to a place and get his advice how to proceed. You can do but little by going to the meetings except to introduce the subject. It is difficult to sell a book or anything else in a crowd. You need to see the men one by one at home. You will know more about it when you get through. I generally tried to see those who have been subscribers for the Cen. as they are more apt to be interested in the book. You will find a great many in Wis. who came from Oneida County, and others who heard father preach when he went through Wis in 1858.
