This item from the heart of America's football culture puts me in mind of the humanitarian who gave you beer out of the cat's plate while you were wedged under the seat in "Jolly John's" back in your un-Regenerate days.

     Some evenings ago I met Bill Kouck ("Little Nell") and his charming Finnish wife.   Hadn't seen him in a Coon's age.  We had a fine evening - and some spring day will invade Downer's Grove to see them in their home.
     I am sorely in need of some NN tracts.  Can you send me some?  Saw our Holy (?) founder, F. J. Walsh, last night.  He is fine in the NN Faith - and practice.
     In 1935 Bill Kouck and I were both Delegates to a Peace Conference in Detroit.  I was a mere slip of a lad - aged 28.
