Dear Jack,

    I refuse to cut into your valuable time, cause I can just as well wait until after April 1 to send my stuff to you.  As a matter of fact, it'll take two weeks of revising before it's fitten fer yer examination anyhow.  Even if the drama is not your forté, I have a high respect for your literary judgment, and I want my plays to be a collective effort in the fullest sense.  As far as the criticism of the drama from the theatrical point of view is concerned, Hank Noyes and the playwrites [sic] group here will not let me get away with anything below first rate.
    We had upwards of 35 people jammed into my living room last nite -- and had a damn good meeting.  Selected an exec that includes Hank Noyes, Flerlage, Morrie Stein (an old Rep Group boy) and myself.
