This is just about three whole years overdue as I think back of the last time I saw you.

However, unlike a certain "published author" and my prolific friend Fallon, I am and always will be, a lousy letter writer. Full of good intentions and weighed down by the guilt of ever carrying them out!

I have thought of you both many, many times since that lovely liquid week we spent together 

in New York and haven't fallen over backwards in those same chairs since! I am sitting in one now.

Life has been very good to me this past year. (The ten frantic years I spent in New York somewhat

make me feel I deserved at least one good one.) I am happy to be back in Chicago and
