Bunni reports that when he first went to Alexis's looking for a place to sleep (Alexis is the photographer that owns the farm - orchard where Bunni was given a 2-story garage for a studio - he's made it charming! - I've been there twice & was supposed to go again but the flu had started) - Roberto looked like a seedy tramp. But I'm sure he's fixed himself up since, before the hunt for a teaching job.

Bunni also told me he saw Nelson & Studs in a farewell party on Channel 11 - I have no television set, refused it twice, eyes strained as it is - and that Nelson looks like a corpse! - so gaunt. I wasn't surprised as a picture of him in one of the papers showed something similar. I'm afraid this is the result of all his spitefulness. Hatreds eat into people.
