Mary died in May of a very fast-acting cancer. they got sick in Tanzania in February, but we thought it was just a tropical bug. However, it didn't respond to treatment, so she went in the hospital soon after we got home. I didn't want to stay in (Chicago?) for Christmas, so I drove to Florida and will wander around in the warmth looking at birds. Merry Christmas and love to you, Max
