Dear Jack, At long last, I am impelled to write. I have received a letter from Douglas Wixson asking my aid -- such as I am able to give -- in his effort to bring you some of the recognition denied you for so long. Believe me, I'll do my best in such a cause. Although, alas, I have only my memory to aid me. You have met my younger brother, Chester. You undoubtedly know through him, the love, respect and admiration I have for you. That I have always had. I am told you had your 91st birthday last Dec. 5th. On Dec. 10th I had my 82nd.
