Comanches. About a month over 300 Comanches & their families came into Presidio to trade 3 or 400 Horses & Mules & have gone down between the Rio Grande & Nueces Mustang hunting.

 This river (La Leona) appears from all accounts to be one of the Garden of Eden of Texas - The river neither increasing or decreasing much & irrigation can be suredly carried on -
