general tidal inroads of the Sea - some times at high tides overflows low places (forming Bayous) & then the lower land behind the Sand hills become Marine lagoons - I ? owing to the low water the undulatory appearance of the Sea beach - & the formation in these undulations of holes or what will in time be ponds - & this undulatory process appears to go out to Sea a long distance & may this not account for the undulating land away from the shore
During the late storm some quantities of Sea Weed ( ? ) some large Sugar Canes are not pick X & ? have been ? up along the beach - used for making a Smoke to drive any Mosquitos in the ? from the
