6th The deed to the Company of their part of the land is absolute - that to the family in each case will contain a condition that the family shall reside on the land 3 years and fence and cultivate at least 15 acres of it or forfeit their title to the Government.

7th For every 100 families the Government further give a premium of 10 sections of 640 acres each, two sections to each 100 families to aid them in erecting houses for Religious public Worship and for schools.

8th For the purposes of the settlement of the 10,000 families under the Contract the government have set apart a Territory of 100 by 164 miles in extent and are bound to make further allotments as required -

9th Of this Territory every alternate section of 640 or half section of 320 acres is issued to the Government and the Company have the presumption right to purchase the resc..nd sections on very favorable terms-

10- The Company must place 250 families each year upon the tract or forfeit their contract but may place as many more than 250 as they choose up to 10,000 in all under the Contract.

11th Some Emigrants, have been placed upon the land and are to be reckoned in the number of 250 families required for the first year.
