2/ our early activities so that at 11.40 a.m. there were only abt half a dozen people there But they came in quickly after that with loads of food and friendliness to make up for tardiness. Mrs. Krause was there early. I went to see her Wednesday and she said she meant to be [broag..?] She showed me your letter - a very nice one - and seemed very pleased. She was about the same as when I saw her a few weeks ago. She evidently has to think hard and talks slowly, but is very self-controlled, tho inwardly very nervous. She tired soon and was taken away with another old lady settler, before the crowd gathered. she had had her dinner at home as she is on a diet, so she really got very little out of her exertion.

 The highlight of the occasion was the arrival of Fannie & Glen Spink about the time the eating was over - But they meant it so, as they didn't look hungry.

Fannie asked about you, regretted that she probably could not get down again so soon to see you. After the program and praying was over (I think we had four prayers altogether) Byrum took me
