Dear Mum & Grandmum: -

 Very rainy weather. Hung clothes out yesterday. Rained most of the day and part of the night - also more this morning so instead of getting drier they get wetter.

Mrs. Curtis and Mrs. Kopp are enjoying the same experience. V enclosed.

 Helen Franke is here. Came yesterday to look about and try to establish kindergarten. Is planning to get a room somewhere and remain several months, supporting

herself by kindergartening or caring for children. Her husband has gone west on business and is to be gone for a time - probably until November. They are thinking of moving west if he can get located.

 She was out here for the first time a week ago to try to get a room, but did not succeed so will be here temporarily. Has the back dining room for
