 Dear Katharine:
    Managed to get the chain letters off the next day after receiving the one from you. Had one from Annetta the same day.  I have little faith in them & don't suppose you or your mother have either.
 Was glad to hear from you tho and hope to see you this summer some day -
 Isn't it nice not to have the heat & dust of last May? Of course we could stand more sunshine, but things grow - The country looks so green & fresh -  Have finished planting corn -   The garden is much farther
