So you recall my telling you last Sept. about the letters I have kept from several people like Tom Mooney .etc and that I wanted to send these to the Nearings for historical purpose? And you asked "why don't we express these at once"? And I replied "I'd have to write to [?] first." Well I wrote and Helen replied they had no room for anything as they had several hundred of their own publications. I let the matter drop until recently where I felt it necessary to do something about this matter, so I wrote Nate Berlyn for suggestions. An airmail letter came Saturday saying he had telephoned the librarian of Newberry library asking if they would take them - As soon as the librarian found out who I am,
