Two different times. But that was not worth mentioning. You recollect the time so many of us had the epidemic, as Doct. Foster called it? What a time! It makes me laugh when I think of it. You escaped for the reason, I believe of neglecting to eat the sour-bread. Narrow escape that! -- Would you believe me if I should tell you that I had been back to Graefenburg? I have, but it did not seem like being there since I did not see you. If I could have found my Dear Sarah, sitting in that little room as I have so many times, it would have seemed like Grae...... But I did not! She was not there, and I presume that if I had visited that same rooms I should have found in place of her, a gentleman. Since we left great changes have taken place, those we knew have left and strangers have taken their places. All I saw of our family was Mrs Kellogg, Miss Bowen, Miss Abbott, Mrs -- Edgerton, Miss Condon, Hellen Mr Paddock and Mr Briggs. I presume there was more there but I did not see them. I did not stay more than an hour, for I was in a great hurry. Mrs Kellogg had left once?, but as she was not as well had returned again to stay about four weeks. Miss Bowen is getting better and if she perseveres will probably recover her health. Miss Mary Sherman has gone home. She was not well but much better
