We received your card a few days ago, and your letter of Nov. 26th last night. I think it is high time you had an answer to some of your questions. Edward has not yet returned, but is on his way homeward. we had a letter from him last night from Hillsdale dated Nov. 28. He reached there at 3 P.M. that day and expected to start from there at the same time the next day. Says that Brother B & Hattie are both well. Had been at Chicago staid there one night with T. T. unclear who used to live with us. was going from there (Hillsdale) to Newburg, Ohio, where he expected to spend the Sabbath, and from there home, or at Remsen by Monday or Tuesday eve. A week ago
If Mr. and Mrs. P. come here that may make a difference about our leaving home, as they would come soon, and so keep the house warm all winter. We could then be at home part of the time if we wanted to. The man who goes to their place wishes to take possession right away. We would at least need to be here to arrange things and make room for them. Let us try to write oftener. Why doesn't your father write? unclear
